Aces Studio (part of Microsoft Game Studios), makers of the award-winning titles Flight Simulator and Combat Flight Simulator, are looking for a Test Lead for the Train Simulator franchise. Apply your core test skills, such as planning, design, and implementation to our entertainment business and help a dynamic and creative team build premium quality products. You’ll help create a virtual representation of the entire planet that is compelling and relevant to railroad enthusiasts. You’ll be responsible for creating the automation strategy for the title, and you’ll exercise a broad scope of influence, working collaboratively with the Aces Core Platform team and other groups in the studio to deliver world-class experiences built on the new Aces Simulations platform.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a team of full-time and contract staff to deliver test planning, test pass execution, and test automation for the product
- Working closely with your counterpart leads, developers, designers, and program managers to schedule, track, drive, and communicate testing status for the product
- Providing performance and career development feedback and mentoring to team members
Qualifications include:
- 3-5 years professional software testing experience including test automation and/or infrastructure development
- Prior test lead experience for a full product cycle
- Demonstrated cross-group collaboration skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Strong investigation and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated test engineering including test planning, test design, test casing, and automation development
- C, C++, or C# programming preferred
- BS degree in computer science or a related technical discipline preferred
